“Immaculate property. Massive ranch. There are too many exotic game to count! Used pit and free mesquite for amazing grilled steaks at the end of the day. Jacuzzi was perfectly clean and relaxing. The pool has a sunbathing end. Nicely lit. Balcony overlooks the pool and hill country. The owner Ty came round multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our stay and one day took us on a 2.5 hour atv tour. Yes, the ranch is that big.”

You will also see exotic wildlife throughout the property. They kids loved going down to the stocked pond and catching fish off of the dock. It was common, especially in the evening, to see several around the cottage, providing for spectacular viewing or unique photo opportunities. From our perspective, the combination of the ranch environment and exotic animals didn’t make it very difficult to picture yourself as if one was in Africa.”

“Our one week stay at the cottage on the Artemis Ranch was an incredible experience. The location of the cottage and the surroundings abounded with peace and serenity, provided us with ample relaxation. The 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage was first class and included a fully furnished kitchen, outdoor fire pit, beautiful pool, and a hot tub with ample room for several couples. Firewood for the pit, a nice deck, and pool furniture was furnished. We sat outside on either the upper or lower deck where we enjoyed colorful and surreal sunsets.”

“If you’re looking for the ability to drive 5 min to a Starbucks, do not come here. If you are looking for a 2mi drive on a dirt road from the main road to an amazing cabin in the middle of an 3700ac ranch/game-preserve with the best night sky you have seen with a pool and hot tub, this is your place. The owners, Ty & Leslie, and their entire team were nothing less than the most hospitable hosts one could ask for. Upon arrival, driving back to the cabin, I saw at least 5 different African game species, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Later on in my stay, Ty & Leslie were kind enough to take our small family group on a tour of the property to see nearly 30 species of game and 2.5mi of the Colorado River.”

“PERFECT is the word for this place. It was some of the prettiest country that I have ever seen. I really enjoyed getting to see the exotic animals roaming and grazing throughout this place. The cottage I stayed at was the best with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, its own swimming pool, and hot tub. The people were great – friendly, kind, and generous! This needs to be an annual or twice a year visit. A place like this makes me love Texas even more!”
